The short version
Everything you type, paste or upload into a tool on Complete Toolkit stays on your device. It is processed by your own browser and is never sent to us or to anyone else. We don't have a server that could receive it, and we don't want one. We do use anonymous analytics to understand which tools are popular and how the site performs — details below.
Your files and text never leave your device
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you compress an image, decode a JWT, format JSON or remove a background, that work happens on your own computer or phone. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server, and nothing is logged. Close the tab and the data is gone.
This is a technical fact about how the site is built, not just a promise. It also means the tools keep working if you lose your internet connection after the page has loaded.
What we do collect: anonymous analytics
To understand which tools people find useful and to spot problems on the site, we use two third-party analytics services. Neither has any access to what you type into the tools.
- Google Analytics — records anonymous, aggregated usage: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived (for example from a search engine), approximate location by country or city, and general device and browser type. It does not identify you personally. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Microsoft Clarity — records anonymous interaction data such as clicks, scrolling and general navigation patterns, which helps us see where a tool's interface is confusing. Clarity automatically masks text content in its recordings, so the text and files you enter into tools are not captured. Microsoft's privacy statement is available at privacy.microsoft.com.
Cookies
The analytics services above set cookies in your browser to recognise returning visitors in an anonymous, aggregated way. We do not set advertising cookies of our own, and we do not sell or share any data with advertisers or data brokers.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The tools on this site will continue to work normally without them. If you use Google Chrome, you can also install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data across all sites.
Advertising
Complete Toolkit does not currently display advertisements. If we introduce advertising in future to support the running costs of the site, we will update this policy before doing so, and the core promise will not change: the content you put into the tools will still never leave your device.
No accounts, no personal data
Complete Toolkit has no sign-up, no login and no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information, and we have no database in which to store it.
Children
This site is a general-purpose set of utilities and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
